Design criteria
Micro Concrete Repair can be applied in sections upto 100mm deep. For larger sections, the addition of approved aggregates may be required. This will depend on the specific configuration of the repair location.
Micro Concrete Repair (MCR MICROCON-CRETE) is a high-performance, pre-packed, cement-based micro-concrete specifically engineered for structural repairs of reinforced concrete elements. This free-flowing, shrinkage-compensated formulation is ideal for inaccessible areas, jacketing, or repair of overhead and vertical surfaces without the need for vibration.
Formulated with premium-grade Portland cement, graded fillers, and specialized additives, MCR MICROCON-CRETE ensures high early and ultimate strength, superior durability, and excellent thermal compatibility with host concrete. Mix only with clean potable water (W/P = 0.16).
For repairs deeper than 100 mm, add 5–12 mm SSD graded coarse aggregates.
Place using gravity feed or pump into properly prepared and pre-wetted formwork.
Maintain a minimum unrestrained surface area and apply bonding agent or primer where needed.
Do not exceed water dosage.
Wear gloves, mask, and goggles during mixing and application.
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin exposure.
