Application Methodology

Step no 1: Surface Preparation

Good surface preparation will help the rust converter work more effectively. This step isn't always necessary, but the quality of the preparation leads to a high-quality end result. Remove excess rust with a stiff, bristled brush.The object of this step is to get any loose or flaking rust off rather than trying to seal it in. Clean and degrease the surface and let it dry. This step ensures that other surface contaminants will not interfere with the reaction of the rust converter on the rusted surface.If your surfaces have only thin films of/grease, you will find it advisable to switch over to ReArm Rust Remover which will perform both the functions of degreasing and dedusting thereby reducing one operation, two tanks, and space

Step no 2: Method of Application

In case of heavy rust steel reinforcement remove the loose rust by wire brushing, hammering, chipping, or grinding so that majority of the rust scale is removed Apply.the ReArm Rust Remover on to the affected areas by waste Clotho brush leave the surface to react for at least 15 to30Minutes the rusty surface will change its color to its original blackish steel.Then remove the loose particles of rust by brush or cloth When applied over corroded reinforced steel, clean the surface with fresh water before taking upshifter work of repairs.

Duration of dip

Generally, about 20 minutes (Naturally the duration of dip for removing loosely adhering rust and scale will be less than that taken to remove heavier types of scale rust etc.) (For Testing method refer Terminology - T2)

Consumption:
