Surface Preparation

1. Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, grease, oil, or any loose particles.

2. Dampen the substrate with clean water but avoid water ponding.

3. Repair cracks, holes, and undulations with a patching compound before skim coat application.

Mixing Instructions

1. Pour 4.5–5.5 liters of clean water into a mixing bucket.

2. Slowly add 25 kg of Matex Fair Face powder while mixing continuously.

3. Use an electric mixer or hand tool until a smooth, lump-free paste is achieved.

4. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes and remix before application.

Application Method

• Apply Matex Fair Face using a steel trowel in a thin layer (0.5 – 3 mm).

• For enhanced waterproofing, apply in two coats allowing the first to cure before the second.

• Use a sponge float or trowel to smooth the surface.

• Do not overwork the material or apply in extreme heat or rain.

Curing

• Light curing with water spray may be required in hot/dry conditions.

• Avoid direct water contact for at least 24 hours after application.

• Full curing takes approximately 7 days under standard conditions.

Storage and Packaging

• Available in 25 kg moisture-resistant bags.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Do not stack more than 10 bags high.

• Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.

• Wash thoroughly after handling.
