Application Instructions

  1. Surface Preparation – Clean, dry, and free from laitance

  2. Priming – Apply SealArm PS-P Primer to porous surfaces

  3. Bond Breaker & Masking Tape – Ensure neat finish & correct bonding

  4. Mixing & Pouring – Mix for 8–10 mins, then pour directly into joints

  5. Tooling & Clean-Up – Top-up if necessary and remove tape after application

1: Surface Preparation: The surface should be clean, dry and free from Laitance and loose particles. Correct joint design should be followed. To use economic quantity of SealArm PS-P the Width: Depth ratio should be 2:1 Back Up Materials: Insert compressible polyethylene, polyurethane, themocolfoam neoprene, polyethylene butyl rods as back-up material to control depth of sealant in the joint and to provide support for tooling of the sealant2: Priming: Apply one coat of SealArm PS-P primer on porous surface with dry brush. Please ensure the primer should not apply on Bond Breaker. Primer to be applied only on both side of concrete surface. Allow the primer to dry for one hour and then apply the sealant as soon as possible and certainly within 8 Hours.3: Bond Breaker: Fix bond breaker tape such as self adhesive polyethylene tape on back-up material to avoid adhesion of sealant to the third surface. 4: Masking Tape: Apply masking tape such as self-adhesive polyethylene, cellophane or cloth tape on both edges of the joint. It is used to improve the neatness of the finished seal by protecting the face edges of the joint. It may be removed immediately after Tooling of the sealant.5: Mixing: Both parts of Polysulphide are Preweighed materials; by using paddle type mixer both the parts to be mixed till a smooth uniform Consistency mix is obtained. Mixing time normally is around 8 to 10 minutes.
